What amount of microgreens will I grow?

The first wave of microgreens will be ready after 7 days and will be enough for up to ten servings. You can cut a little bit every time you need to and this way you will always have fresh plants. After you are done with harvesting the first ones you can wait a few days and you will have again some fresh microgreens.

How to grow microplants at home with the Microgreens Growing Kit?

Spreading the soil and sowing the seeds

Pull the inner part out of the package, use as a planting environment for your microgreens. It is specially designed to be strong enough to withstand the whole growing process.

Add some water.

Pour a little (1/3 tsp) lukewarm water on the expanding coconut organic soil tablet and let it swell for 1 minute. Then spread it carefully in a thin layer on the bottom of the bed in the plate. If parts of the soil remain dry, add a little more lukewarm water until they are watered and wet. Carefully open the seed bags with scissors and place the separator in the middle of the soil. Fill well in each half with each one of the Serdika Farms' special seeds for microgeens - use the whole packet.

Cover with the Farmer's diary for 48 hours.

There is no need adding more water during this period. With the covering of the pot you provide the necessary moisture to the seeds and help them germinate. When you remove the diary after two days, you should notice the sprouted seeds.

Keep adding 3-5 tbs of water daily

Add 3 to 5 tablespoons each day before harvesting. The microgreens grow well in dim and direct light, but the frequency of watering depends very much on the temperature and light level. if you notice that your soil is drying out, add an additional 1-2 tbsp. per day. keep the soil moist.

Harvest your microgreens between days 7 and 10

You can start picking your finished microgreens after the 7th to 10th day of their development. Take a little every day - just a pinch of them is completely enough or harvest everything at once - it's up to you! Use scissors to cut from the stems very close to the soil, then wash the plants very well before consuming them. Don't forget to pick all the microgreens on the tenth day at the latest, so they can be the most healthy- don't worry, they can be stored for up to a week in your refrigerator, wrapped in a wet cloth or napkin! eat them together or separately as an addition to each of your favorite dishes!
